The tangelo (Citrus × tangelo) is a juicy, sweet-tart citrus fruit that is a hybrid cross between a mandarin orange and a grapefruit or pomelo Tangelos are characterised by a distinctive bell shape with a prominent “neck” at the stem end, which has led to the popular nickname “Honeybell” for some types.
